Is it possible for a machine to fall in love? Ask Wall-E and Eve, maybe you will get yes for an answer 
Although the movie can categorized as science-fiction, the way Wall-E watch movie indicate something more beyond machine and consciousness: imitating. In the movie we can see how Wall-E express his love by following what he saw on the movie (and since when machine have gender;D). Imitating is one of the most primordial thing in life. During childhood, kids use to follow what their parents do, and soon the child start to synthesize their own belief with what they see and feel.
Further, how can we define love? Is it something material or beyond? If you watch Hitch, maybe you can see how love can constructed through some statistical observation. You can make someone fall in love with you by imitating the targeted person. Or in the case of Wall-E, how can we justify, Wall-E and Eve interaction as a couple who deeply fall in love? Can we just say all of those chemistry is not more than an algorithm?
