Two mainstream which arise in technology studies are technology determinism and humanism. Technology determinism put technology as an agent of change. Gun for example, is bad, no matter who use it. While humanisn group, put human as a decision maker. Gun can be good if it used for defence propose.

Information communication technology (ICT) have two side also. In one hand, it can help people to contact with other people around country and increase economic value, on the other hand, it possible to bring negative impact. Moreover, can we resist the ICT development?

In general, the answer is no. Furthermore, information similar with education is part of human right, and resist it also mean that we proote inequality. But we have to see it wisely, just like we protect our children from several kind of movie.
