History of Science and Technology
Atomism in Sociology, any theory according to which social institutions and process arise solely from acts of individual men(Democritus)
The similarity between science and social also occur when Montesquieu(1689-1755), Robespierre(1758-1794), and Danton(1759-1794) lead the
France revolution using “The Law of Harmony Lavoisier” to balance the development of science and technology in that period. After physic and chemical, principles in biology such as autopoiesis, virus, and survival of the fittest are used to explain social phenomenon.
In engineering, how nature influence technology design has already been well known. The idea of airplane for example, is inspired by bird ability to fly. The same pattern also happened when people want to dive, which synergize knowledge about human body, oxygen and mechanic which make the oxygen tube possible.
