One critic that has been pointed to modernism is determinism. Human, technology, relation between human and human, human-technology, and technology-technology have been modeled in a mechanistic way. Of course, there is always bright and dark side of modernism. Mass production, efficiency are several examples of the beneficial of modernism, while the Luddit rebellion against the machine in the nineteenth century, transformation from human to machine, human productiveness which parameterized using machine(watch) are some examples how machine influence our life, and by time, control us.

Maybe, there is nothing wrong with control. Some of us, take an insurances to guarantee their future, the same thing also occur when we buy things, especially electronic. Things with guaranteed for a certain period is much more preferred than things that isn’t. But how long can we guarantee our life? Is it possible to be quantified?
