Have you ever imagined about using Hydrogen as fuel for your daily life? Some of you may have still no idea about the use of this element.
Recently, Engineers at the University of Leeds believes that someday, we’ll be able to operate laptop or cars by the old chip fat, extracted from the waste materials. They promise to make a more efficient fuel, through an environmentally-friendly hydrogen production system. Hydrogen is one of two natural elements that combine to make water. Hydrogen is not an energy source, but an energy carrier because it takes a great deal of energy to extract it from water. It is useful as a compact energy source in fuel cells and batteries. Many companies are working hard to develop technologies that can efficiently exploit the potential of hydrogen energy.
Dr Valerie Dupont from the School of Process, Environmental and Materials Engineering (SPEME) says that he can foresee a time when the processes they are investigating could help ensure that hydrogen is a mainstream fuel. At this moment, they are investigating the feasibility of creating a uniquely energy efficient method of hydrogen production which uses air rather than burners to heat the raw product. Our current research will improve the sustainability of this process and reduce its carbon emissions.
Hydrogen known to be good alternative compared to solar for fuel, as it free of emission, renewable, and abundant.
Hopefully, they will be able to create the high purity hydrogen-based fuel necessary not only for large-scale power production, but also for smaller portable fuel cells.

Using hydrogen as fuel in fusion nuclear reactor and change it to Helium will make world lack water and hydrocarbon, but if it is not changed to Helium and only as an energy carrier it does not matter.
