Scientists believe that parkinson is intimately linked to brain, where it occurs when a group of cells in an area of the brain called the substantia nigra begin to malfunction and die. Parkinson happens in the form of movement disorder that is chronic and progressive that can be worsen over time. You know, nearly one million people in the US are living with Parkinson’s disease.
Recently, a long-hyped technology has been developed, and enables scientists to activate brain cells with flashes of light. Hopefully, this will be a beginning to deliver results that may extend far beyond neuroscience labs.
Richard Kramer, a neurobiologist at the University of California in Berkeley said that this finding will be a big step to the new era of re-engineer systems in the body of Parkinson’s.
