Driving at night is not as easy as driving at day light. People tends to feel sleepy, and this is one of the cause of accidents in the highway.
Seeing this, the giant car maker–Toyota–are now developing a system to rouse drivers before they quite literally drift off completely. It works as a warning system by alarm that will wake the driver up when he almost crosses the white line, because usually, the white lines are regularly crossed at speed acceleration. The mechanism has been patented on Wipo.int
NewScientist reported that the sensor will enable a better accuracy then the devices have been invented before. Hopefully, this will be a better solution to control sleepy driver phenomenon, and decrease the accident number as well.
